About Us

As a new patient, you will initially receive a consultation and comprehensive physical examination to rule out serious causes of spine pain (tumors, infections, fractures, nerve compression, systemic pathology, visceral referral, etc.). If warranted, x-rays will be performed or other diagnostic testing (CT scan, MRI, nerve conduction studies) will be prescribed. Once serious pathology has been ruled out, we will discuss your goals and expectations for treatment and establish a schedule of chiropractic and rehabilitation sessions to help meet your set goals and expectations.

Chiropractic is a healthcare discipline that manages patients with musculoskeletal pain without the use of medication or surgery. Chiropractic is based on the premise that the nervous system controls and coordinates every bodily function, including how much pain you feel and how well you move. As a result, the hands on techniques (massage, mobilization, manipulation) and therapeutic exercises utilized by chiropractors are intended to provide a platform for which the nervous system can use to decrease or eliminate pain and improve the way you move.

Besides hands-on treatment and therapeutic exercise, the most important tool we can provide you with is education. You will learn self-help strategies to help manage your pain and the important role you play in your recovery.
